Wengreen Reunion
The Wengreen Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2005, Island Park, Idaho. Darryl Harris has offered his cabin for the event.

Wengreen Reunion Details (updated 2 Jun 05)
When: Saturday, August 6, 2005
Where: Island Park, Idaho at the cabin of Darryl and Christine Harris. We hope you can all plan to attend. It will be a great weekend of relaxation and enjoyment with our large and expanding family. The weather in Island Park in August is usually perfect and so is the scenery nearby and in the surrounding area of Yellowstone just minutes away. It is suggested to come up a day early or so as the reunion gets underway Saturday morning. Stay in the area as long as you want and enjoy. There is an LDS chapel close by for those who plan on staying over until Sunday or so.
Accommodations: Darryl says the most convenient is the newer Sawtell Mountain Resort, located only 2-3 miles from the cabin. Their rates are $59-$89 per night. They charge only $25 per night for an RV hookup and they have quite a few. Also, it has campground accommodations as well for tents, etc. The resort is located across the highway from Island Park Village. The phone number is (208)558-9366. Also nearby is the Valley View RV and Campground. They charge $14 a night for a tent with hookups and $19 a night for an RV with full hookups. Their numbers are (888)558-7443 and (208)558-7443. The address is 5152 N Highway 20 in Island Park. There are many other motels-hotels in nearby West Yellowstone, Montana which is about 20 minutes from the cabin. No matter what you choose it is wise to get your accommodations soon as they can go fast. Darryl and Chris are inviting the older generation to stay at the cabin as there will be a bedrooms reserved for Aunt Eva, Aunt Evelyn and all the brothers. There is limited space around the cabin for a few tents for those who would like that.
Directions to the Cabin: Proceed north on the highway toward West Yellowstone. Remember, Island Park is a community that is 15 miles long. From Last Chance, Pond's Lodge, Elk Creek Station, Mack's Inn, and Island Park Village. Two or three miles from Island Park Village, turn left (to the west) on Red Rock Road. Go about one mile to the cattle guard, turn left again (to the south). You will come to a real estate development called Sawtelle Estates. The roads are named after animals. Keep going south for a mile of so. Turn left again (east) on Elk Road, and you are there! Cabin phone # is (208)558-7679.

9:30-11:00 - Arrival and visiting
11:00-1:00 - Family business and history
1:00-3:00 - Potluck lunch
3:00 to whatever - Visiting, reminiscing, games, etc.
The reunion committee will provide 1) Dutch Oven Chicken 2) drinks. Bring your own salads, desserts, side dishes, rolls, plates, utensils, tablecloths, etc. We look forward to seeing you all there and expect a nice turnout and this is the year to see uncles, aunts and cousins we haven't seen in a while.
